The first stage is to discuss your requirements and timescale; you
may wish to send or email your own photos / sketches of what is
required . We can then arrange a convenient time for the first visit.

This first meeting can take anything up to 3 hours . Hopefully we
can agree most details at this time and work on some preliminary
drawings and I tend to take lots of photographs.

You may already have ideas regarding size and composition ;
consideration needs to be given to the foliage / time-of-year of
any gardens. Most of the painting work can be carried out from
sketches , layouts and photographs.

When details have been agreed I send a letter confirming your
order , agreed details and delivery date . Occasionally it may
require a second visit and more draft drawings.

Prices are generally dependent upon size of artwork and complexity  of image.

The finished painting is then delivered to you window mounted
and you but  unframed. Hopefully you will be pleased and delighted
with the finished painting  -  work never leaves my studio until I am
totally happy with the result .

Paintings are presented double-mounted onto high quality acid free board ready
for your own choice of frame. Advice can be given on a choice of frame and a
local Fine Art Trade Guild framer can be recommended.

Guide prices are indicated below however this can vary depending upon the
complexity and requirements. The whole process from first visit to final delivered
work normally takes about 4-6 weeks

I am able to travel nationally and internationally to work on commissions.
Modest additional expenses are charged for long distance travel .
